The National IT Services Contract provides the following IT services:
- Payroll Services for 155,000 employees – all NHSScotland staff plus a university and several GP surgeries
- Unique Patient Identification services for the population of Scotland (approx. 5 million) and Northern Ireland (approx. 2.4 million)
- NHS Central Register Services (on behalf of the General Register Office for Scotland)) for the population of Scotland
- Cervical Cytology Call/Re-call Services for women in Scotland
- Breast Screening Call/Re-call Services for women in Scotland
- Child Health (Immunisation, Pre-School and School Surveillance, Special Needs) for children in Scotland
- GP Payments for all (approximately 1,046) GP practices in Scotland
- Patient Administration Systems (Helix PMS) services to NHS Divisions in Scotland
- Scottish Care Information (SCI) services to Health Boards (Gateway and Store)
- ePharmacy Development and Support Services to Health Boards
- eCare Development and Support Services
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity for national and some local Health Board systems
- Security and Intrusion Detection for all MTS (Managed Technical Services) supplied services
